Examples and Resources for Improving Inclusivity in Visual Design
I was given an unexpected task recently: to change the content of the visual design to reflect the client’s research background in social equity. In my past projects, most of the stakeholders didn’t really spend time on this aspect. I was usually the person who took the initiative to improve the inclusiveness of the design within a limited time. This is the first time since I started working that the client proposed this idea on their own initiative. Since this task mainly involved improving the visual design rather than the design of the UI interface, I could focus on pure visual design activities. So, I searched around the website for inspiration and found many design methods and resources for inclusive design. I wanted to record and share them here.
