My UX learning with IxDF
I joined the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF) about three months ago and have completed some courses so far. They asked me if I could share my experience, as I’m currently one of the top performers in the courses. I think it’s a great idea because I like to share my learning experience. If you are considering taking their online courses, maybe my experience can be helpful to you as well.
Why I Chose IxDF
First of all, let me talk about my experience in UX. Before taking courses in IxDF, I already have several years of work experience in UI design, and my Ph.D. thesis is focused on Experience Design. Therefore, I am familiar with many topics related to UX design and user research methods. However, I still believe it is essential to maintain a habit of continuous learning. Also, the 14-day money-back guarantee and the availability of Don Norman’s courses were particularly appealing to me. Therefore, I decided to join IDF to give it a try.
After joining, I discovered that besides refreshing my existing knowledge in UX, some courses also provided systematic learning on topics I wasn’t familiar with, such as “Agile Methods for UX Design.” Additionally, I liked the regular webinars offered by IDF, which covered subjects that UX designers are interested in. I found these webinars very engaging, and as a member, I only needed to pay $5 to access them, whereas non-members have to pay $50 per webinar. These aspects have motivated me to continue my learning journey with IDF.
